We designed and built low-loss transmision lines that carry the 30 kW RF excitation from the water-cooled power oscillator (the white cabinet on the left with the blue tubing) to the vacuum cathodes. A picture of the remote control panel we built for the RF generator is below. We also built the transmision lines for the DC cathode supplies (behind the RF generator), as well as a patch panel for changing from DC to RF excitation. We did numerous other jobs involving the setting up and customizing of this coater, before NeoVac moved their entire operation to San Diego. |
